Mexico City witnessed an unusual event as the country’s lawmakers gathered to discuss the possibility of extraterrestrial life. The meeting, featuring researchers from Mexico, the United States, Japan, and Brazil, raised eyebrows and sparked debates both inside and outside the Congress building.

Alien Artifacts: The Mysterious Mummies
Mexican journalist José Jaime Maussan presented a stunning revelation during the session, unveiling two boxes purportedly containing mummies discovered in Peru. Maussan and his associates suggested that these mummies were “non-human beings” that did not fit into Earth’s evolutionary history. The shriveled bodies, complete with shrunken, warped heads, left the audience bewildered and set social media abuzz.
Maussan, in his dramatic presentation, referred to this discovery as “the queen of all evidence” if the DNA analysis could establish them as non-human entities. However, he stopped short of labeling them “extraterrestrials” at this point.
The origin of these mysterious bodies dates back to 2017, when they were supposedly unearthed from the sandy Peruvian coastal desert of Nazca. This region is famous for its massive, enigmatic geoglyphs, known as the Nazca Lines, etched into the earth and visible only from above. While most attribute these formations to ancient indigenous communities, their origins remain a subject of fascination.
Skepticism and Scientific Scrutiny
The presentation of these so-called extraterrestrial bodies immediately faced skepticism from the scientific community. Julieta Fierro, a researcher at the Institute of Astronomy at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, pointed out that several aspects of the claims made by the researchers did not add up. She emphasized that the university had not endorsed the supposed discovery and cast doubts on the technology used for analysis.
Fierro also highlighted the unusual circumstances surrounding the retrieval of these artifacts from Peru without involving the Peruvian ambassador, given their potential significance as a “treasure of the nation.”
Congress Remains Neutral
Congressman Sergio Gutiérrez Luna, representing the ruling Morena party, clarified that the Mexican Congress had not taken a stance on the claims made during the session. While lawmakers listened to the testimonies, each member was left to decide their own stance on the matter. He emphasized the importance of open dialogue and the consideration of all perspectives on extraterrestrial life.
International UFO Controversies
This session in Mexico City follows a similar one held in the United States Congress two months prior. In that session, a former U.S. Air Force intelligence officer alleged that the U.S. had knowledge of “non-human” activity dating back to the 1930s. These discussions in both Mexico and the United States highlight the ongoing interest and debate surrounding unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) and possible extraterrestrial encounters.
In a world filled with mysteries and unanswered questions, the debate over the existence of “Mexico aliens” continues to captivate our imagination. While the recent presentation may have left more questions than answers, it underscores the enduring fascination with the possibility of life beyond our planet.
